Ginger Brown

Reliably Good Coffee and Tasty Food

James invited me for a quick lunch so we met at Ginger Brown in South Hobart.  It is a place where I often stop in for a coffee when on the picturesque Rivulet Walk.  I especially love that you get a Jaffa with your coffee!  The coffee is smooth and is always fantastic.

I had not had breakfast so opted for the porridge which was sooooooo delicious - creamy and full of chai flavours and sprinkled with crystalised ginger and beautiful edible flowers.  I enjoyed this so much and loved that it was a feast for the eye as well as the tummy.

James ordered the pork belly bowl and raved about how tasty it was.  He especially enjoyed the pickled vegetables which cut through the pork.
It was a quick and tasty lunch.  The service was efficient and friendly.  The food was tasty and the coffee great!  We also enjoyed sitting at an outdoor table and watching the world go by!
